http://www.gizmag.com/london-science-museum-3d-printing-future/31391/
People in the world never thought we were able to customize things on a computer and have a machine print it out in small plastic strips. the 3d printer was something many never believed in. Now we are making cars, guns, and things that even help humans.
The 3d printer now is such a great invention that has been improved over the years its been created. it all started with a small 3d printer probably about a 5x5. Today many printers are big enough for cars but it takes a long time.
Next will have them go faster since they are already a big enough size for plastic cars. Thats probably a thing they will improve next. People now believe that the 3d printer is possible after it was created. They have been proved wrong.

25 useless technology inventions
http://list25.com/25-most-useless-inventions-ever/2/
All of these inventions are very pointless. Most of these basically are for lazy people. such as a portable chin rest and control alt delete wand.
Most of these inventions are in japan. I do not know why anyone would buy these items. They should just sell they company that made them.
The most worthless item here is diet water because water has nothing in it in the first place. Im wondering if they added healthy minerals in it. they did not realize water is already healthy and have nothing in it.

lab grown mini brain
http://www.gizmag.com/lab-grown-mini-brains/28870/
Comparison of one of the mini brains (right) to the developing brain of a mouse (left)
In the past years scientists have successfully grown organs like kidneys and livers is now they have successfully grown a mini brain. These grown organs will someday be used in transplants. Dr. Jurgen Knoblich analyzed human stem cell that has capacity to change into any other type of cell from the body.
They first found out neuroectoderm to be the starting material of all components of the nervous system. they put it with drops of gel in a bioreactor to make a three dimensional scaffolding for tissue growth. Within 15 to 20 days in the reactor the fragments formed into a continuous brain tissue called cerebral organoid.
After 2 months the brain reaches its maximum size and continue to thrive. These brains can be used for models understanding brain disorders and testing for treatments. They already had success for finding treatments for disorders and other things.

halfbike
http://www.gizmag.com/the-halfbike-minimalist-bicycle/31238/
klenov and Angelov are the founders of Kolelinia and both have architectural and cycling backgrounds. They designed the 3 wheeled halfbike for easy maneuverability and easily fit for public transit. This Halfbike has pivoting wheels and lets the rider steer by leaning.
The compact design measures out at 100 x 40 x 130 cm, which is 40 x 16 x 51 in. It has aluminum frame and plywood pool steering weighing 7.8 kg becomes 17 pounds. this design lacks a seat making you engage your leg muscles by staying up straight and leaning forward. this makes it a continuos workout.
Halfbike is trying a kickstarter to raise funds to promote the bike. They are trying to raise up to $80,000 to manufacture the product and sell the bike for $800 each. If everything goes well they are trying to start selling them in june or july on a first come first serve basis.

The Flying Phantom: US$40k sailboat levitates two feet above the waves
http://www.gizmag.com/flying-phantom-hydrofoil-catamaran-sailing/31143/
This sailboat is gravity-defying costing only $40,000 US. It mimics the hydrofoiling action by rising up on 2 J-shaped wings at speed until hulls are about 2 feet above water. Getting 2 feet above water it gets smoother and faster in silence.
The flying phantom can get up above water at 7 knots downwind or above 10 upwind. The max speed has been 33 knots but they company believes it can get up to 40-45 knots. This boat is not new to the sailing world.
It is much more useful when the ocean is choppy so sailers do not have to worry about the waters. The flying phantom is the first product to bring levitation experience to the commercial market. The company is possibly making a racing series of this sailboat.

Kellen and Myles project
We uploaded a bottle from online and outlined the bottle to color it in. Then for the background we took a picture of fish scales. For lettering we took a style from online and used it. The lettering style is called pieces of eight. We then fooled around with the font texture and made it the way you see it.

solar cooler
http://www.gizmag.com/solar-cooler/30567/
The solar cooler is a portable container for food and drinks that keeps contents cold using a refrigeration system with solar panels. The cooler stays 42 degrees for over 24 hours depending on how often the lid is open. It can also go as low as 14 degrees.
The cooler is 16 x 14 x 17 and weighs 55 pounds. By weighing that much it leaves 40 liters or enough for 60 12 oz soda cans. Since ice is not needed it does not need ice so you can use to fill it up.
The cooler has a usb ports and 12 V outlets on the side. There is a light on the inside so you can see the drinks or food at night. The wheels are sported and can traverse to sandy terrains.

This device is a insole in your shoe to track what you do. It has 8 pressure sensors to track your fitness. The insoles are very light and unobtrusive.
Each insole can log up on flash memory 50,000 steps. While counting footprints it has a 24 hour battery life so it does not die throughout the day. When you charge your insoles you place it on the dock or also known as the shoe station.
During the charge the insoles automatically send the information to the 3L labs internet based server where it's analyzed. The results are sent back by a text or a dedicated smartphone app. These insoles can find early conditions predictions of dementia or spinal disease. Also reports gait assessment fall detection, rehabilitation monitoring. It will be commercially available in the second half of the year for the price of $100.
